G. S. Gill currently serves as Chairman of Tecnova India. For over 32 years, he worked with Gillette in various positions across countries and successfully managed numerous operations for Gillette in India.
He is currently based in the UK and works as a magistrate. Mr. Gill is also a fellow of the Institute of Charted Accountants in England and Wales and his directorships include Surrey Care Trust/Industrial Development Board for London and South East.
Karan joined Tecnova in 2010 as the head of its M&A practice. He specializes in cross-border transactions and assisting international companies to establish their footprint in India. He has been directly involved in multiple transactions across several industries including consumer, automotive, healthcare, renewable energy and Information Technology and has worked extensively with clients from the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.
He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Tecnova in April 2016 and has been leading the company in developing and executing its growth and international expansion plans since then.
Prior to Tecnova, Karan was at Price water House Coopers in Sydney, Australia as a part of their Corporate Finance division.
Rohit is a business leader with over 20 years of experience building data monetization & data optimization strategies, captured in a proven “Data to Value” approach, for enterprise, non-profit, and start-up companies. His main areas of expertise are driving ROI via revenue and margin growth, and strategic planning to achieve competitive differentiation, using a framework that combines leadership, personnel management and innovation.
Rohit has executed value-creation plans for private equity-owned businesses, a public company, and a family office. Rohit has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University).
For fun, Rohit loves traveling to beach towns with his boys & his wife, swimming in the ocean, parasailing and enjoying local cultures & cuisines. An avid runner, Rohit also enjoys tasting red wines from around the world. Experiencing a commercial space flight is at the top of Rohit’s bucket list.
Smita has been a board member at Tecnova since 2014. She has over 10 years of work experience specializing in Marketing and Corporate Communications.
She has worked in leading organizations across India and Australia including Gillette, Tecnova, Nielson Online and KPMG.
Smita graduated from Delhi University following which she completed her Masters in Business Administration from University of Nottingham, UK
Paolo Streparava is the CEO of Streparava Holding SpA, a company operating in the automotive sector.
After covering various roles, since 2003 Paolo Streparava is the Managing Director of Streparava spa. Later on he became the CEO of Streparava Holding SpA, director of Streparava India, Vice President of Lab ID of Milan, adviser at FAI (Futuro all’Impresa) of Brescia, adviser to Isfor 2000 (Istituto Superiore di Formazione e Ricerca) and to Banca Santa Giulia.
Former president of the AIB (Associazione Industriale Bresciana) – Young Entrepreneurs Group, Paolo Streparava, completed his university course in Economics and Commerce. Then he attended a Masters course at SDA Bocconi.
Gaurav focuses on business acquisition in Europe. He has been instrumental in bringing several new companies across various industries such as Industrial, Healthcare, Consumer and Automotive
Gaurav specializes in working with small, mid-size, and family-owned companies that require customized and pragmatic solutions, and ensures strong engagement with the top management to build a feasible India entry strategy.
Prior to joining Tecnova over eight years back, Gaurav was working with Progressive Group of the UK in setting up their business development function and created a strong team in India from scratch of around 40 people. He was also associated with companies like i-Gate Solutions and Citicorp in sales and marketing roles with a successful track record.
Gaurav is a management graduate and has completed his MBA program at Birla Institute of Management Technology, a reputed management institute in New Delhi.
Dilip heads Industrial and Greenfield Projects Execution at Tecnova. He is a Physics graduate and MBA with almost 10 years of experience in Business Consulting, Market Research and Project Execution. Dilip specializes in Greenfield project management, location analysis for manufacturing operations set-up, partner selection, preparation of business plans and statutory & regulatory compliance requirements.
Dilip is also responsible for revenue generation in Industrial/B2B segments and quality control. He has been with Tecnova for last 7 years and during his tenure, he has successfully led over 60 projects in niche industries like Chemicals, Heavy engineering, Packaging, Electricals, and Renewable Energy.
Few of his clients include leading international players like MWV (Meadwestvaco), International Paper, Hollingsworth & Vose (H&V), Heraeus Electronite, Ahlstrom Capital, Nukem Gmbh, Hexion, Helvoet Pharma, Chipita foods, and Streparava.
Ankit focuses on business acquisition in North America. Prior to the North America Market, Ankit has worked for 10 years in business acquisition in Europe and Japan. Ankit has over 15 years of experience in International Business & Market Entry Strategy. He has played a vital role in assisting in the launch of Greenfield operations in India including Market Research and devising Entry Strategy, Factory Set-up, Subsidiary Incorporation, Manpower Recruitment, and R&D Set-up. He has been successful in providing consultative direction & steering strategic approach as per the business solution to more than 100 MNC’s. Ankit has hands on experience in marketing, sales, regulatory affairs & distribution across healthcare, automotive, food and beverage, FMCG and Industrial domains.
Prior to Tecnova, Ankit has worked with Pfizer India Limited and was responsible for sales and marketing, expansion of distribution network across India.
